Mithos Tamikin is a wizard turned lich in the kingdom of Dravencroft. He has been plagued by visions of a golem he has never seen and a destroyed city he doesn’t know. He decides to leave his tower behind in search of answers. After being attacked by a group known as The Order of the Dark Sun, he realizes that this adventure is bigger than he can handle alone. He recruits his best friend Javak Shalan, a fierce and steady warrior. Together they gather other adventurers to their side and find themselves facing old enemies along with new.

Mithos and his friends continue their search for his former mentor Obasek only to find out the Demon Taelo that once possessed Obasek is running free. The demon is searching for an item of tremendous power and Mithos hopes they can beat Taelo to it fearing what will happen if they don't. In the shadows another figure watches, waiting for her chance to strike at her long-time enemy.
